Questions
A profile is one person with an active record in the system, an employee, a contractor, or a temp, including their training history, certifications, and incident history. Someone who's left and been archived doesn't count against your limit; only active people do.
Every new account gets full Scale-tier features for 14 days, no credit card. If you don't choose a paid plan by the end of it, you're moved to Free automatically, 5 profiles, no time limit, nothing lost, no action required on your part.
No. A card is only needed when you choose a paid tier and enter it yourself. Starting an account, including the 14 days above, asks for an email address and nothing else.
You'll see a notice in the app once you're within a few profiles of your cap, well before you hit it. Nothing is ever deleted. If you go over the limit, your oldest profiles beyond the cap become read-only until you upgrade or bring your count back down, and the new limit applies immediately once you move up a tier.
Yes, anytime, from inside your account, no email or call needed. Upgrades apply immediately. Downgrades apply at the start of your next billing cycle, once your active profile count fits under the lower tier's limit.
Yes, on every plan, Free included. Upload your logo and set an accent color and they show up on the app, your PDFs, and your emails, with a small "Powered by CrewSafety" credit alongside them. Enterprise is the only tier where that credit goes away and the branding is entirely yours.
No signed contract for Free through Scale, every plan runs on the same Terms of Service you accept at signup. Monthly billing has no term commitment, cancel whenever you want. Annual billing is paid upfront for 12 months at the lower rate: fully refundable within the first 30 days, non-refundable after that, with your access continuing through the full term either way. Enterprise is billed on custom terms agreed on directly.
